Jesse Haff ( / playlist) is a musician in the dark metal band Daylight Dies. Here he has been writing music and playing drums for many years. The band has two full length albums, "Dismantling Devotion" (Candlelight Records, 2006) and "No Reply" (Relapse Records, 2002) and an out of print demo EP entitled "Idle" (Tribunal Records, 2000). Haff fights the good fight for Robert Greenwald, and Brave New Films as well as being the designer for too many web sites to mention. Haff founded darkdose.com together with Jeff Brubaker in June 2005.

Jeff Brubaker ( / playlist) is a C++ programmer with too many hobbies and too little time. Although he's never made a career of it, he's been developing web pages since 1994. His only contribution to dark music has been the A Land Forlorn metal index which briefly existed between 1996 and 1998 and included popular pages for Opeth, Dissection and Hypocrisy. He's an avid photographer and produced the images used in Daylight Dies' "Dismantling Devotion" as well as their limited released live album.

Alejandro Nogales ( / playlist) has been a technology consultant ever since graduating with a BBA in 2001. All of his free time is devoted to finding inspiration by savoring dark music in many genres through different avenues. Nogales strongly believes in this uniquely powerful medium of enabling listeners to discover new music amidst all the 'buzz' that's cluttering review/forum sites. Nogales looks forward to delivering an authentic message that has no hidden ties to a record label, distribution channel, etc. He hopes to learn from his audience, from the farthest corners of the globe, as much as he wishes to contribute using the internet's viral form of communication.

Jake Faber (), lovingly known to many as "Metal Jake," is the newest addition to the darkdose clan. Jake got his musical start playing drums over a decade ago, and has since progressed to writing subpar guitar riffs from time to time. For the past 4 years, he has hosted a weekly metal radio show called "Sunday Night Blasphemy" on WUVT 90.7 FM, which can also be heard online. His other hobbies include breaking stereotypes surrounding dark music and using his house as a hostel for poor and hungry touring bands. Jake is currently in his last semester as a Marketing Management major at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. If anyone has any exceptionally lucrative job offers near the beach, with full benefits, 4 months of paid vacation and little to no responsibility, please contact him immediately; he is the man for the job.

Thomas Carpe () is a teacher in primary school believing in the positive effects of music on his self equilibrium. Thomas learned to play the guitar to get a chance to express how he feels inside, and his main efforts as a composer can be heard in his personal project called The Lull (which is also the pseudo he's used on several musical forums for a decade or so). Thomas is constantly in search of music which he can identify to, no matter the musical style. Thomas' only aim in posting on darkdose.com is to share his musical discoveries, so that those artists get a growing recognition by people who are not basically fans of their style. One last thing: "English is not my mother-language, so please be tolerant with my grammar..."
